Of all the age-groups playing football, it is the young that are the most important. These players are the foundation of the whole sport; without young players, football has no future.

The coaches are the ones who are responsible for the nurturing of these young players, so by making their job easier, more enjoyable and rewarding, ensures:

1. Young players stay interested in playing the sport;
2. Young players have “FUN” along the way;
3. Young players develop a lifelong passion for this great game;
4. Coaches feel confident in their role as a coach;
5. Both the players and the coaches develop the necessary skills to improve;
6. A satisfaction that is greater than winning trophies and medals.

Offering incentives for coaches to volunteer to coach a junior team is our way of showing our appreciation for the time and effort that is required to coach a junior team, such as;

Team Sponsorship
Where the coach, manager & players benefit from securing a team sponsor. Team Sponsorship will include the coach & manager both receiving a club jacket and polo shirt, and each player receiving a club polo shirt. (If you are able to attract a sponsor for your team, they must contact us for the package layout and costing details).

Coaching Education      
Where the necessary courses and updates are made available & affordable.

Committee Support      
Where coaches receive the support from the committee, ensuring:

• Parents are made aware that their children play to satisfy themselves, not the other way around,
• The players are involved in a positive environment,
• The rules and laws of the game are understood and the game is played in true spirit,
• Abusive or offensive language and behaviour is not tolerated.
